The Duchess is a posable art doll inspired by the chintz textiles that were very much in fashion during the 18th century. She has a soft, cotton body and her hands, feet and face have been hand sculpted from stone clay. Her clothing is completely removable and has been adorned with glass beads and vintage laces. Her eyes are made of glass and flash a lovely shade of blue in direct sunlight.
